The short version
Pop Reef is a casual bubble‑shooter game published by zetbrush.ai. You can play without creating an account, and we don’t ask for your name, email, or precise location. Your game progress is saved on your device. To keep the game free and to sell optional items, we use a small number of trusted third‑party services — Google AdMob (ads) and RevenueCat together with Apple/Google billing (in‑app purchases) — which process limited data such as an advertising identifier and purchase records. Details are below.

1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how zetbrush.ai (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in connection with the mobile game Pop Reef (the “App”) on Android and iOS. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
The App does not require an account and does not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, or contacts. The only information you actively provide is when you choose to make an in‑app purchase (handled by the app store — see Section 6).
2.2 Information collected automatically by third‑party services
When you use the App, the third‑party services listed in Section 3 may collect limited information from your device, including:
- Advertising identifier (e.g. Google Advertising ID / Apple IDFA, where permitted) and device/ad‑interaction data, used to show and measure ads;
- Approximate location derived from your IP address (country/region level — not precise GPS), used by ad and store services;
- Device and technical information such as device model, operating‑system version, language, and crash/diagnostic signals from the advertising SDK;
- Purchase records (which non‑personal product was bought, and a randomly generated app‑user identifier) for purchase validation and restoring purchases.
2.3 Information stored only on your device
Your game progress, level stars, coins, boosters, settings, and purchase flags are stored locally on your device. This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed when you uninstall the App.
The App can also schedule local reminder notifications and use your device’s share sheet if you tap “share”. These run on your device and do not send data to us.
3. Third‑party services
We rely on the following service providers. Each processes data under its own privacy policy; we encourage you to review them.
| Service | Purpose | Data processed | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads) | Display and measure in‑app advertisements | Advertising ID, IP‑based coarse location, device & ad‑interaction data | policies.google.com/privacy How AdMob uses data |
| RevenueCat | Manage and validate in‑app purchases | Anonymous app‑user ID, purchase/transaction records, device & store info | revenuecat.com/privacy |
| Apple App Store / Google Play Billing | Process payments for in‑app purchases | Payment is handled entirely by the store; we never receive your card or billing details | Apple · Google |
We do not currently run our own analytics on you, and we do not sell your personal information. If this changes, we will update this policy and its effective date before the change takes effect.
4. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the game;
- To display advertising that helps keep the App free of charge;
- To process and restore your in‑app purchases and remove ads when purchased;
- To diagnose crashes and improve stability and performance;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
5. Advertising & your choices
The App shows ads through Google AdMob. Depending on your region and consent, ads may be personalized or non‑personalized.
- European Economic Area, UK & Switzerland: on first launch we show a consent message (via Google’s User Messaging Platform) so you can choose how your data is used for ads. You can change your choice later from the consent options in the App.
- iOS: we present Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change
tracking permission anytime in
Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. - Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad
personalization, in
Settings > Google > Ads.
6. In‑app purchases
The App offers optional purchases (coin packs, a “Remove Ads” upgrade, and a starter pack). Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never receive or store your payment‑card information. RevenueCat receives a record that a purchase occurred (tied to an anonymous identifier) so we can deliver the item and let you restore purchases on a new device.
7. Children’s privacy
Pop Reef is intended for a general audience (ages 13 and older) and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us (Section 13) and we will delete it.
8. Data retention & deletion
On‑device data (your progress and settings) is kept until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data held by our third‑party providers is retained according to their own policies. To request deletion of any data associated with you, email us at support.popreef@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain uses.
- EEA / UK (GDPR): the legal bases we rely on are your consent (for personalized ads) and our legitimate interests (to operate and improve the game and to show non‑personalized ads). You may withdraw consent at any time.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell or “share” your personal information as those terms are defined by law. You may request access or deletion.
To exercise any right, contact us at support.popreef@gmail.com.
10. International data transfers
Our service providers (including Google and RevenueCat) may process data on servers located in the United States and other countries. Where required, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
11. Security
We and our providers use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide an in‑app notice. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
